Meet our Executive Assistant, Courtney Shields! Courtney has spent several years working in administration and currently handles all of our social media and marketing. Skilled in Graphic Design, Multi-media, Animation, Photography, Videography, Video Editing, Webpage Development, Administrative Management, Collaborative Problem Solving, Research, and Public Speaking, Courtney received her Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts - Animation with an emphasis in Art History. While in school, Courtney discovered her passion for social justice and helping her community. After college she took a leap of faith, moving across the country from Missouri to California, in the hopes of bettering herself and finding a safer place to live. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she has been working with us to expand services and safety measures for LGBTQ+ individuals in our program.

Although Courtney is relatively new, she has been making big changes to our branding to help us to continue to grow. She is extremely dedicated to our mission and those we serve, constantly finding new ways to achieve our goals as an organization.
