Meet Johnny Lujan! Johnny is the CEO for Freedom Through Education and has been leading the organization since 2019. Johnny started his journey with Freedom Through Education as a board member in 2015 and has remained on the board ever since. In 2018, Johnny consulted with FTE to help steer and build character core values into the organization. March of 2019, Johnny became a Vice President and took over many of the daily activities concerning staff and development. His priority was to build a culture of dignity and respect for everyone.

January 2020, Johnny took the helm of FTE as President and CEO. Johnny had 3 goals: Financial Stability, Organizational Stability and Character Development. He set a course of action and with the help of an eager staff he was able to set sail towards achieving these goals. Johnny believes in second chances. His passion for philanthropy stems from his own struggles as a young adult both internally and externally. He realized that one momentary lack of judgement can change the direction of an entire life. Johnny has been clean and sober since January 10, 1989, and realizes every life counts, and everyone should have a second chance to prove themselves and their worth.

Johnny is a US Navy Veteran, Dale Carnegie Graduate, Distinguished Toastmaster, Philanthropist, Evangelist, Husband, Father, and Grandfather.
